...app. Does exactly what it says. I use. It for CrossFit and sparring and I couldnt be happier. I especially like that your iPod can be playing and the timer wont interrupt the music.

I have had this app for some time now and I really like it. Please do an update to set number of rounds and add more cool sound effects! Great app!

Cant believe the other reviews are about the same app. Ive downloaded this twice and it Doesnt run in background -pauses instead - so its useless if you want to do anything else while using the timer.

Why was this so hard?? Maybe I wasnt searching with the right key words, I dunno. But this round timer does it right-- interval time, number of intervals, rest time between each interval, pause before start, and adjustable warning tone before times-up. Plus I can finally play my music behind it! I dont know if Apple finally allowed that option for 3rd party apps, or if these guys are just more clever than most. I dont care, it works. Also, in consideration of that feature, the timer volume can be adjusted independently of the iPod volume. This is perfect for my Kung Fu training! Thank you!

the best .99cent app ever! the screen stays lit the whole time while i work out. And it stays lit GREEN/YELLOW/RED--the way it should be. just start music and then start timer and the sound will amplify thru the system so you dont miss the sound. the only thing that would be more useful would be more bell sounds for the end/beginning of the rounds(right now the have 1ring and 7rings) please make 3 and 5--- tip of the hat to who ever is responsible for making this fighting app right. I bought this app a while back, and it just keeps getting better. Not only is it an excellent app but the developer was quick to answer my email. This app is easily worth 10 times its price!

Easy to use and makes timing my heavy bag workouts very simple. Highly recommended.

I have a number of round timer apps, but this one is my favorite. Lacks couple of features (ability to save different routines for one), but otherwise convenient and snap to use. But the latest OS4 update actually broke it somewhat. It used to save state when you quit it. Now it seems to lose it sometimes - not every time, but once in a while you restart it, and it starts from scratch :( Bring the old behavior back!

I just downloaded this today and used it when teaching my cardio circuit class. It was perfect for that! Best $0.99 Ive spent in a long time.

Needed an interval timer to work with my iPod music and this works great. I hook my iPhone to external speaker, start the music & start the timer & get to working out. Well worth 99 cents

As a martial arts professional, I found this to be a great timer. The only thing needed is a warning bell in the rest time. Then I could give it five stars. Hopefully an update will include one.

I plug my phone into the stereo when training. I can listen to music from my phone while using the round timer. Great app!

Im so happy I found this app. I use it for sparring and drills. I thought about buying one of those digital timers but they cost a lot.

I have used this app for my stretching and exercise for a long time and loved it. The new version makes it almost not worth having. Not only does it stop sounding the tone in the middle of say 10 rounds, but it is now so time consuming to use, its just not worth using.

I updated this app after having it for two years and the update ruined it. Thanks a lot, I have deleted it!

Been using for a long time and have loved it....BUT this last update makes this timer almost unbearable! I have to constantly set my intervals and sounds again because it keeps resetting at random times. I run a boot camp and I cannot have 30 people waiting around because the timer keeps failing! Needs to be fixed fast or else I will have to look for a new timer.

Maybe the feature is present and I just dont know how to use it, but in addition to counting down rounds I need something that functions as a basic stopwatch.
